Yes, completing the Financial Analysis and Business Decisions for Non-Finance Managers (Synchronous e-learning) (2 Units) and Business Analytics: Decision Making through Excel (Synchronous e-learning) (2 Units) courses are mandatory.
These gateway courses are eligible for SkillsFuture subsidies
Candidates will need to attain at least a Merit grade for the above gateway courses as part of the admissions criteria to the EMIM programme.
Self-funded Singaporeans & Singapore PRs enrolling in the EMIM January 2027 intake can receive up to 40% tuition fee rebates.
Gateway courses are not eligible for the 40% tuition fee rebate; however, they are eligible for SkillsFuture subsidies.
Singapore citizens and permanent residents are entitled to subsidies from SkillsFuture Singapore for their first attempts in each course.

The part-time programme has a fixed and sequential programme structure, and classes are mostly hybrid. Candidates must obtain a minimum Cumulative Average Point (CAP) of 3.2 over the programme period.

The programme is structured in a modular format to be executive-friendly.
Participants are required to complete 9 courses for a total of 40 units (including the two 2-unit gateway courses) offered by NUS Business School over four semesters.
Yes, EMIM candidates come together in-person for the first two weeks of their first semester, which includes orientation activities to build cohort spirit. The programme concludes with an in-person gathering during the final two weeks of the fourth semester.
A minimum of 70% attendance is required. Absence will result in loss of class participation.
To graduate from our NUS Executive MSc in Management programme, you must complete the programme requirements and achieve a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.2 (out of 5.0).
